Story of the World
Curriculum

Story of the World curriculum, written by Susan Wise Bauer, is a homeschool history curriculum written from ancient times until the present--Africa, China, Europe, and America.

These books are very engaging and exciting for children to read on their own or for a parent to read aloud to their children. It is a great introduction of the world's history in story form.

Susan Wise Bauer, a homeschool graduate, is a college professor and homeschooler mom. She is the author or co-author of several well-regarded books including "The Well-Trained Mind: A Guide to Classical Education at Home".

Story of the World Audio Books

I love the Story of the World curriculum audio books that are narrated by Jim Weiss.

Recently when I was at a homeschool convention, I met Mr. Weiss and we talked about the importance of understanding how children learn.

Many children need the audio and visual to learn. With a narrated CD, a student can listen to the story and read along at the same time.

Story of The World Activity Books

The Story of the World curriculum activity book that contains coloring worksheets, maps, activities, and questions can be bought separately.

This history curriculum can be taught at a different age groups, which is nice for the homeschool mom with multi-level grades.

With 10children, I am always on the look out for curriculum that can be taught to more than one grade level.

It is NOT written from a Christian world-view, however it is not presented as anti-Christian either.
