I get to work closely with my husband!

One of my favorite things about homeschooling is the fact that my husband and I get to work very closely together to give our children a quality, Christian education!
Choosing curriculum, sharing with each other, and working together through difficulties in school are all ways that we do this. He's usually the one I call when I need support during school! (After all, he IS the principal. =) )
He often has good, fresh perspective that helps me when I'm getting discouraged or frustrated. Sometimes while my husband is at work he'll talk on the phone with one of our children that is struggling, and sometimes he prays for me while we're on the phone.
My husband also helps with teaching our children lots of practical life skills and he leads us in family devotions - precious times of singing, praying and Bible teaching.
A highlight of our year is attending a homeschool convention together. It is a time of renewing our vision of homeschooling and being encouraged to keep on doing what God has called us to do - to teach and train our children for Him.
I love being a team with my husband!

Hello!!! I just came across your website while looking for some sort of
encouragement online. I currently have a 2 and 3 yr old and am almost 5
months pregnant with number three. I am overwhelmed some days!!! Your
website has already been such a blessing to me!!! I just wanted to thank

I just wanted to let you know that what you are doing is amazing. I have
4 children and I want to homeschool so badly. My oldest 2 are in school
but when we move to TX I want to homeschool...
