Love it

Product: Weaver Interlock Program


Subject: Math, language arts, science, social studies, art, music, creative cooking, phys. ed.

Levels Used: It's for preschool/kindergarten age children. I use it with my 5, 4 and 2 year olds.

Dates Used: From September '10 to march '11.

Pros: Loads of fun. All three children I use it with love it. It's a bible packed, hands on, multi-sensory unit study that teaches children Genesis 1-10 and weaves the other subjects in to for the bible lesson for the day. My eldest sometimes even cries when it's over! And asks me if we can do extra lessons on the weekend! Lots of creativity and visual aids to teach children lessons they will remember.
Lessons take between 15 minutes and 1.5 hours each. It varies a lot depending on how long you spend on the creative components.

Cons: Requires much planning on the parents part, but I actually like having that invlovement rather than just making them fill in blanks in a workbook (which most children find terribly boring). Once you get in the swing of it, the planning is not an issue.
